Kentucky GIS Conference 2026
Wednesday September 30, 2026 TBA
As communities grow and evolve, residents, planners, and elected officials deserve transparent, real-time access to the development activity shaping their neighborhoods. This presentation introduces the Development Hub — an ArcGIS Hub Site designed to streamline access to development data across Kenton County

At the heart of the Development Hub is the Kenton County Development Tracker, an ArcGIS Experience Builder App that enables users to search, filter, and explore active development projects. Complementing the map is a suite of highlight dashboards that break down residential and non-residential activity into clear, actionable insights — alongside key performance indicators that help illustrate the development narrative through departmental metrics regarding service and volume.

This presentation will walk through the vision, decisions, and technical components behind the Hub, illustrating how a well-structured open data platform can bridge the gap between government and the communities it serves. Attendees will come away with a deeper understanding of how ArcGIS Hub can be leveraged to transform raw permitting and development data into a compelling, accessible public resource that builds trust and drives informed decision-making.
