Phil Ponce, PE, is the Vice President of Engineering Mapping Solutions (EMSOL), where he brings more than 30 years of experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), engineering support, and municipal infrastructure solutions. Throughout his career, Phil has worked closely with cities, utilities, and public agencies to develop practical GIS strategies that improve asset management, streamline operations, and support long-term planning initiatives.Phil is also actively involved in the GIS community and has attended the Arizona Geographic Information Council Conference (AGIC) since its inception, staying engaged with emerging technologies and best practices in the geospatial industry. Known for his collaborative approach and deep technical knowledge, Phil is passionate about helping organizations leverage GIS technology to solve real-world challenges and improve decision-making across departments.
