About me
Doug Curl is the director of the Information Management Division at the Kentucky Geological Survey, University of Kentucky, where he has served for over 25 years leading IT operations, web development, and building systems for delivering geologic data to researchers and the public. Curl holds an MS in geological science from the University of Tennessee and a BA in geology from Guilford College. His professional interests focus on geoscience data stewardship and dissemination and the development of digital products that make geologic information accessible to diverse audiences.
