About me
Adam Nolte is a GIS Analyst at Environmental Solutions and Innovations (ESI) with nine years of experience helping clients with their GIS needs regarding permitting and regulatory compliance. Specializing in water resources, he commonly creates watershed models, analyzes LiDAR data, and creates habitat models among other things. Proficient in Python, he spearheaded ESI’s creation of their Sediment Modeling ArcGIS toolbox to help conduct sediment erosion and transportation modeling. Adam started his career as a geologist, with a focus on hydrogeology and has always relied heavily on GIS and data analytics. He is a registered professional geologist in Kentucky and has worked extensively in karst environments including mapping sinkholes utilizing LiDAR in 15 counties in Kentucky as well as conducting dozens of dye tracing projects in the state. When he’s not at ESI, Adam can be found working with his wife on their farm in Madison County.
