About me
Charles Altendorf is passionate about connecting GIS and CAD to create smarter workflows for construction and infrastructure projects. With over a decade of hands-on experience across regional, government, oil, fiber, and water sectors—and a Master’s in Digital Mapping from the University of Kentucky—he brings practical insights into spatial data integration and design optimization. As a previous President and a current Director of the Kentucky Association of Mapping Professionals, Charles champions innovation and collaboration in the geospatial field. Since 2019, he has shared his expertise through presentations at KAMP conferences, focusing on practical solutions that improve accuracy and efficiency on the job site.
