About me
Dan Stone is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Kentucky and a KY Master Naturalist specializing in environmental science technology. His research leverages ArcGIS Pro and Alteryx to perform spatial forensics on historic ecological data. His current project, "The Big Bird Kill," documents the geography and cultural impact of the 1970s–90s avian stress agent program in the Southeast. He explores using GIS to bridge the gap between history and conservation, illustrating the long-term impact of human-wildlife conflict.
